Short Term Disability

PCC offers Short Term Disability for the purpose of providing income replacement benefits to all full-time employees during periods of a covered non-occupational illness or injury (this includes pregnancy related disabilities). Short Term Disability Benefits

This benefit applies when an Employee meets the definition of Disability in the Plan and that:

(1) starts while the Employee is covered for this benefit.

(2) is being continuously treated by a Physician.

(3) is due to an Injury or Illness that, in either case, is non-occupational – that is, not arising from work for wage or profit.
